The Mono Lake Kootzaduka’a Tribe is a Native American tribe, who for the past century continue to seek federal recognition and a land base for its people.
The tribe is active on a variety of fronts to ensure the well being of its people and traditional homeland. The tribal office is in Lee Vining, California, USA. Regularly scheduled monthly meeting are held at the tribal office however due to 2020 pandemic concerns, monthly meetings are held via conference call.
The tribe regularly consults on a variety of projects with federal agencies, including: Bureau of Land Management, United States Forest Service, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, and the National Park Service.
